Reiki : Le livre du maître (The master’s book)

Le ciel gelé se lézarde

Et son souffle entre et sort

De mon corps immobile.

Reiki : Le livre du maître. On sale in bookshops and online.

The main aim of this book is to help new and future reiki Masters with their teaching. A second aim is to encourage them to develop their personal reflection on all aspects of reiki. It presents teaching advice with practical note cards for pupils. This makes it attractive to a large audience of people drawn to reiki who will find in it the answers to many questions they may be asking themselves about this practice.

The book is organised as a guidebook of advice and reflection and is divided into work units.
It deals with the practical side of reiki which is its essential aspect. There are numerous exercises which help develop concentration and an optimum use of energy.  The subjects of these exercises include visualisation, perception and relaxing mental control.

The text is divided into five chapters.

Chapters 1 and 2 provide a general introduction to reiki : its history and the hypotheses on how it works, followed by teaching methods and initiation..
The following chapters deal with the specific training for reiki stages 1, 2 and 3. This provides the opportunity to discuss the meaning of each stage, the teaching programme and the specificity of each stage.

The tone is precise and free of metaphysical considerations, reiki being a practice which is open to and compatible with all beliefs. By demystifying the “magic” aspect of reiki, the book makes the notion of a flow of beneficial energy  accessible to all.
